SSTC Tourism Marketing Plan 2018/19 – Get Involved and Engaged!

We’re taking a page (or 20) from the 2017/18 South Shore Tourism Marketing Plan and all that we learned and discovered with its implementation to launch the 2018/19 Plan. The 2018/19 Tourism Marketing Plan builds on the success of our winter tourism events — Tis the Sea’son Festival and South Shore Lobster Crawl — to transform the South Shore into a four-season tourism destination. On May 2, South Shore-ers from resorts, parks, retail, tourism experiences, Tourism Nova Scotia, Chambers, restaurants and municipalities put their heads together to brainstorm creative and practical ways to build a sustainable, year-round tourism industry on the South Shore. The 2017-2018 Marketing Plan for Nova Scotia’s South Shore was spearheaded by our volunteer Board members in collaboration with owners and experts in tourism along our shore. We were pleased to receive their endorsement of this plan and it now serves as a guide for our efforts, activities and investments over the next year.
